My best friend is my enemy

Penny Mara was born in Athens in 1976. She finished school and successfully gained admission to her preferred college, but for family reasons, she did not pursue her studies and instead dedicated herself to creating her own family. Later, she worked for about eight years at the Security Service Provider Company "Pyrsos Security" as a personnel assistant and subsequently as the personal secretary to the personnel director. From a young age, she loved reading and often kept a journal, later moving on to writing short stories. Due to her interest in crime and detective novels, she is currently taking online Criminology courses and is a member of KEME (Center for the Study of Crime). She began writing her first novel “My Best Friend, My Enemy” during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, and she completed it in the summer of 2022. She was inspired by her reality—health issues, gambling, friendships, and family.
