Antigone and her sister Ismene wish to honour their dead brother. King Creon enforces a strict law, but the wise men of Thebes advise him to show tolerance.
Despite the danger, Antigone alone overcomes her fear and chooses to follow the law of love and conscience. Everyone will face the consequences of their decisions.
Courageously, Antigone tells the king: “I wasn’t born to live in hatred; I was born to live with love!”
